Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pearland). They blew past the South Houston Trojans 8-0 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Oilers in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won six in a row.

Pearland's offense was hitting South Houston from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Caden Sparks led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

The victory got Pearland back to even at 6-6-1. As for South Houston, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pearland will square off against Sam Rayburn at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. South Houston will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Alvin at 12:00 p.m. on February 22nd.
