After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rocky Mountain Prep SMART, Jefferson was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Lake County Panthers with a sharp 8-1 victory. That seven goal margin sets a new team best for Jefferson this season.

Their offense was hitting Lake County from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Santiago Siliezar Torrez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Jefferson's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-4-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three matches. As for Lake County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Coincidentally, Jefferson and Lake County will both be playing The Pinnacle the next time they take the pitch. The Saints will head out to face the Timberwolves at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Panthers will host them at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
