After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Valley, Johnston was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Norwalk Warriors by a score of 59-48. The win continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.

Johnston's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Norwalk, they moved to 11-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Johnston and Norwalk should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Iowa Rankings. The Dragons will face off against Ankeny Centennial at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (30 vs. 92). Meanwhile, Norwalk (ranked 13th) will meet Newton (ranked 147th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
