Softball Recap: Francis Scott Key Takes a Loss

Francis Scott Key suffered their closest loss since May 21, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Fallston Cougars by a score of 5-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 5-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Francis Scott Key's loss dropped their record down to 6-4-1. As for Fallston, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5.

Coming up, Francis Scott Key will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Westminster at 4:30 p.m. The Owls will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. Fallston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
