Soccer Game Preview: King George vs. Chancellor

The King George Foxes are taking a road trip to take on the Chancellor Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between King George and Spotsylvania, and Spotsylvania kept the tradition alive. The Foxes fell just short of the Knights by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Chancellor strolled into their game on Friday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. Their defense stepped up to hand Caroline a 6-0 shutout. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Chancellor's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 30th, while Caroline are ranked 230th).

King George has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-5-1 record this season. As for Chancellor, their win bumped their record up to 9-0-1.
