Softball Recap: Crivitz Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bonduel, Crivitz was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Wausaukee Rangers a 10-0 shutout. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Rangers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The result came thanks to Isabelle Danielczak's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up 11 Ks. Those 11 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.

On the hitting side, Lillian Biundo was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Kiya Brand, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Crivitz's victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crivitz will square off against Algoma at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wausaukee, they will head out to challenge Coleman at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
