            Basketball Recap: Schroon Lake Wildcats vs. Bolton Central Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Schroon Lake and Bolton Central squared off in some playoff action  on Saturday, but Schroon Lake had to settle for second. They took a  blow against the Bolton Central Eagles, falling  60-27. The Wildcats were red-hot offensively heading into the  contest (they scored no less than 55  points in the four  matches prior), but the Eagles' defense proved too tough.
 Bolton Central's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Sullivan Eager, who  posted 16  points. That's the most points  Eager has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Jaxon Egloff, who  had 15  points.
