Silver Stage is on a nine-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Pershing County a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Saturday. The Silver Stage Nighthawks will welcome the Pershing County Mustangs at 12:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Silver Stage came up short against Yerington on Friday, falling 3-0.

Silver Stage took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-6, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Pershing County suffered their biggest defeat since August 18th on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to Yerington. The shutout was out of character for the Mustangs seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Pershing County was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-23, 25-17.

Silver Stage's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Pershing County, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.
