Basketball Recap: Bentworth Drops Highest Score of Season Against Springdale

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bentworth). They walked away with a 70-58 win over the Springdale Dynamos on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Bearcats who have now won four matches in a row.

Bentworth's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Christopher Harper, who posted 25 points. Harper's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ben Hays, who had 25 points and five boards.

Bentworth pushed their record up to 7-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points per game. As for Springdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

Bentworth will challenge Greensburg Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Springdale, they will square off against Riverview at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
