Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Merrol Hyde Magnet). They blew past the Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs 74-27 on Thursday. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 25 points or more this season.

Merrol Hyde Magnet had a senior duo take command as Sam Mullins almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds and Harrison Gill went 6 of 9 en route to 13 points and five steals. Mullins' evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Jackson Givens was another key player, putting up ten points.

Merrol Hyde Magnet's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-9. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Red Boiling Springs, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.
