Baseball Recap: Rocky Mountain Has No Trouble Against Kuna

Rocky Mountain had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Kuna on Thursday. The Grizzlies were the clear victors by a 13-4 margin over the Kavemen. The Grizzlies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

Reece Hudson looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Aiden Henzler was a standout: he scored three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jeff Thompson, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Rocky Mountain kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Rocky Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Kuna, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.
