West Linn is 9-1 against Tigard since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Lions take on the Tigers at 7:15 p.m. One thing working in West Linn's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.

Last Wednesday, West Linn made easy work of Lake Oswego and carried off a 75-52 victory. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Lakers are ranked 59th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tigard might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 67-46 to Tualatin, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Tigers have struggled against the Timberwolves recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

West Linn's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Tigard, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-13.

Everything went West Linn's way against Tigard when the teams last played back in January, as West Linn made off with a 77-51 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Linn since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
