Softball Recap: Skyview Takes a Loss

Skyview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 17-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Billings Central Catholic Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 19-9 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2022.

Skyview got a massive performance out of Ruby Sheridan, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Rebekah Nickish, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Skyview's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Billings Central Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Skyview will be playing at home against Belgrade at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Billings Central Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against East Helena at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
