Football Recap: Kofa Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Kofa lost against La Joya Community back in October of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Kings took a blow against the Fighting Lobos, falling 64-27.

A big part of La Joya Community's win came down to the chemistry between Ashton Audis and his top target Jayden Quick. Audis threw for 220 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes while Quick picked up 130 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Those 220 passing yards gave Audis a new career-high.

Kofa's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for La Joya Community, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Kofa will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Alhambra at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for La Joya Community, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Copper Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
