Volleyball Recap: Baldwinsville Comes Up Short

Baldwinsville was the 3-1 winner over Fayetteville-Manlius when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bees fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Bees have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Baldwinsville started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 22-25, 25-20, 25-18, 15-13.

Despite the loss, Baldwinsville still got an impressive performance from Kiana Hosseini, who had 21 digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Aubrie Morris, who had 17 assists and five digs.

Baldwinsville's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-7-2.

Baldwinsville has already played their next matchup (against Fowler), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Fayetteville-Manlius, they will square off against Indian River at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
