Hopkins County Central had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They blew past the McLean County Cougars 14-8.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 7-23-1. As for McLean County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12-1.

As of now, neither Hopkins County Central nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
