Volleyball Game Preview: Keyser Golden Tornado vs. Northern Garrett Huskies + How To Watch

The Keyser Golden Tornado are taking a road trip to square off against the Northern Garrett Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Keyser will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Mountain Ridge, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Golden Tornado narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Miners 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Tornado.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (100-93) Keyser actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 9-25, 19-25, 25-21, 15-8.

Northern Garrett won the last time they faced Fort Hill and Violet Taylor did her part to make sure it happened again. The Huskies came out on top against the Sentinels by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday thanks in part to Taylor, who had 23 digs and three aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last six times she's played.

Northern Garrett was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-20, 23-25, 25-13, 26-24.

Keyser's record is now 14-8-2. As for Northern Garrett, their record now sits at 9-0.

Keyser might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Northern Garrett in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Golden Tornado avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
