Morgan had won seven straight home games and Jerstyn Payne did her part to make it eight on Wednesday. The Trojans won by a set and slipped past the Dixie Flyers 3-2 with plenty of help from Payne, who had 17 digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last three times she's played.

Morgan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 20-25, 25-18, 25-17, 15-10.

Despite the loss, Dixie still got an impressive performance from MJ Mauinatu, who had ten digs, two aces, and one block.

Morgan's win bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Dixie, with the defeat, they broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 16-9.

Morgan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Ogden on the 2nd. As for Dixie, they will face off against Crimson Cliffs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
