Volleyball Game Preview: Madison Dragons vs. Schuyler Warriors

The Madison Dragons will head out on the road to square off against the Schuyler Warriors on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Madison is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Clarkson/Leigh just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Patriots.

Madison was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring ten points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Schuyler also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Aurora by a score of 2-0. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Schuyler's defeat dropped their record down to 5-21. As for Madison, their loss dropped their record down to 5-22.

Madison beat Schuyler 3-1 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
