Recap: Windsor Greyhounds vs. Tipton Cardinals
The Windsor Greyhounds's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 66-49 to Tipton. While losing is never fun, Windsor can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 486th, while Tipton is ranked 161st).
It was another big night for Jackson Bailey, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 13 rebounds for Tipton. That's the first time this season that Bailey pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lucas Cashman, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Windsor's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Tipton, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
Windsor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tipton will square off against Northwest at TBD on Saturday. Northwest is looking to tack on another W to their seven-game streak on the road.
