Basketball Recap: Missisquoi Valley Comes Up Short

Missisquoi Valley and Mt. Abraham squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Missisquoi Valley had to settle for second. They were dealt a 43-15 defeat at the hands of the Mt. Abraham Eagles. The Thunderbirds just can't catch a break and have now endured 13 losses in a row.

Missisquoi Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Mt. Abraham, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Missisquoi Valley nor Mt. Abraham have any future games scheduled.
