While Clear Falls didn't have the best season last year (they finished 17-25), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Jarrell Cougars on Saturday.

Leading Clear Falls to victory were Delaney Duckett and Riley Martinsen. Duckett had five digs and two aces, while Martinsen had ten assists and five digs. That's the most digs Martinsen has posted over her last seven contests.

Clear Falls' victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Jarrell, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Clear Falls' road trip will continue as they head out to face Fossil Ridge at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Jarrell, they will face off against Lorena at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
