KIPP College Prep took their matchup against Paul Public Charter International 70-58. That result was just more of the same for these two, as KIPP College Prep also won the last time the pair played back in January.
KIPP College Prep was led to victory by Joey Mitchell and Mikah Prescott-Bell. Mitchell scored 17 points along with seven assists and four steals, while Prescott-Bell scored 23 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Prescott-Bell has scored all season. Dajuan Jones was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
KIPP College Prep's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Paul Public Charter International, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. KIPP College Prep will take on Bard at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Bard is coming into the match with seven straight defeats on the road, meaning KIPP College Prep will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. As for Paul Public Charter International, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome SEED DC at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in District of Columbia (Paul Public Charter International is ranked 29th, while SEED DC is ranked 32nd).
