Baseball Recap: Marysville Getchell Takes a Loss

Marysville Getchell's last matchup with Snohomish could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Thursday. Marysville Getchell lost 7-1 to Snohomish. The loss continues a trend for Marysville Getchell in their meetings with Snohomish: they've now lost three in a row.

Marysville Getchell saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Johnson, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI. Jackson Wakin also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Marysville Getchell's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Snohomish, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-6.
