After a string of three wins, Birch Run's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Hillman Tigers by a score of 4-3.

Birch Run's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Hillman, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Birch Run has already played their next match, a 9-2 loss against Lakeville on the 5th. As for Hillman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-4 defeat against Swartz Creek on the 3rd.
