Mountain View had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Timberline on Monday. The Mavericks put the hurt on Wolves with a sharp 3-0 victory. Mountain View might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by three goals or more this season.

Samantha Jones and Elle Sandel scored all three of Mountain View's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 28 goals.

The win (which was Mountain View's third in a row) raised their record to 13-2-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three contests. As for Timberline, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 12-1-4.

Looking ahead, Mountain View will challenge Boise at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Timberline does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
