Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Braddock). They walked away with a 46-38 victory over the Alexandria City Titans on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Bruins: when they faced off against the Titans back in January, they had to take a 62-38 defeat.

Alexandria City's loss came despite strong showings from Kori Dickerson and Maeve O'Brien. Dickerson posted ten points, while O'Brien put up ten points. Those ten points gave O'Brien a new career-high.

Lake Braddock's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-11 and their overall record up to 2-18. As for Alexandria City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Lake Braddock didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 47-40 victory against Westfield on the 7th. As for Alexandria City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 39-28 loss against West Springfield on the 14th.
