Basketball Game Preview: Bethesda Christian Patriots vs. Highlands Latin Highlanders

The Bethesda Christian Patriots will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Highlands Latin Highlanders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Bethesda Christian turned things around against Traders Point Christian on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 70-38 win over the Knights.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins dating back to last season, Highlands Latin's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 66-65 to LKY. The Highlanders were up 54-40 in the third quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Bethesda Christian picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Highlands Latin, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
