Volleyball Recap: Compton Comes Up Short

Compton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Dominguez Dons, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-14, 25-11.

Compton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Dominguez, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Compton will be playing at home against Woodrow Wilson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Woodrow Wilson's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Dominguez, they will venture away from home to take on Cabrillo at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
