Basketball Recap: Liberty County Piles Up the Points Against Wakulla Christian School

The Liberty County Bulldogs really took it to the Wakulla Christian School Saints for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-17 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-0.

Liberty County was led to victory by Cha'Miya Williams and Victoria Proulx. Williams shot 50% from the field on her way to 13 points and five steals, while Proulx went 6-for-11 en route to 12 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Sadie Bailey, who posted six points and nine rebounds.

Liberty County has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 32 points thus far. As for Wakulla Christian School, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Liberty County will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Wewahitchka at 5:30 p.m. on December 1. As for Wakulla Christian School, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 38-6 defeat against St. John Paul II on the 21st.
