Owens Valley suffers third straight loss at home

This season hasn't been kind to the Owens Valley Cubs, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They were dealt a 72-12 defeat at the hands of Baker on Tuesday. Owens Valley has struggled against Baker recently, as their game on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Baker got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jared Amador out in front who scored 17 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Robledo, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds.

Owens Valley's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-4. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.3 points per game. As for Baker, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-7.

Owens Valley won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lee Vining at 5:00 p.m. on January 24th. Lee Vining is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Baker, they will be playing at home against Lone Pine at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lone Pine will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
