Basketball Recap: Robinson Maroons vs. Sullivan Golden Arrows
Robinson extended their losing streak to six on Thursday, dropping them down to 6-14. They took a blow against the Sullivan Golden Arrows, falling 84-45. The Maroons lost against the Golden Arrows in their previous head to head back in January of 2025, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 73-56 score last time.

Despite the loss, Robinson still got an impressive performance from Cruz Dunlap, who shot 71% from the field en route to 21 points and six boards. Thanks to that strong game, Dunlap now owns an excellent 45.6% field goal percentage. Andrew Sparks was another key player, going 5-for-12 to rack up 11 points and six rebounds.
As for Sullivan, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-5. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sullivan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Christain Bryan, who shot 88% from beyond the arc on his way to 25 points and seven assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Bock, who went 11-for-16 en route to 23 points and six boards.
Robinson has already played their next contest, a 56-45 loss against Casey-Westfield on the 24th. As for Sullivan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 85-48 victory against Brown County on the 31st.
