Volleyball Recap: Florence Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Dillon Christian on Tuesday, Florence Christian came back down to earth. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Wilson Hall Barons on Thursday. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Barons earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Florence Christian took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-13, 25-20.

Florence Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Wilson Hall, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-5.

Florence Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Pee Dee Academy on the 2nd. As for Wilson Hall, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Trinity Collegiate on the 30th.
