Seton Catholic is 7-2 against Mesquite since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Sentinels will challenge the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Seton Catholic is headed out to face Mesquite after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Everything went the Sentinels' way against Odyssey Institute on Monday as they made off with a 9-0 win.

Meanwhile, Mesquite had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over Westview.

Seton Catholic took their win against Mesquite in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sentinels since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
