Basketball Recap: Lakewood Comes Up Short

Lakewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 37-32 heartbreaker at the hands of the Keansburg Titans. The Piners were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Lakewood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Keansburg, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.

As of now, neither Lakewood nor Keansburg have any future games scheduled.
