See who's the top teams in the country.

It's automatic every Monday during the high school football season. Football fans from all corners of the state login to their computers hoping the school they are loyal to moved up in the rankings, took over the top spot, or simply made the climb into the rankings.

But what about the national rankings? Oh what a coupe that would be to find your alma mater alongside traditional powers Mater Dei, St. Frances Academy or St. John Bosco. Heck, landing a Top 100 ranking would be pretty cool, too.

Well, this week we did the work for you. Scouring through the MaxPreps National Rankings, we unearthed the current MaxPreps ranking for each member of Nebraska's Top 10 11-Man and 8-Man/6-Man football teams.

Hastings Adams Central, Nebraska's second-ranked Class C1 squad, rounds out the Cornhusker State Top 3 at No. 479 nationally following a 37-14 win over Kearney Catholic last weekend.

Humphrey St. Francis, Nebraska's top dog in the 8-Man/6-Man ranks, climbed 12 spots to 19th this week following a 50-0 win over Riverside. Howells-Dodge edged Laurel-Concord-Coleridge 28-20 to climb one spot to 23rd while Cambridge rose 34 places to 39th nationally after edging Dundy County-Stratton 40-22 last weekend.
