Softball Recap: Genoa Central Comes Up Short

Genoa Central lost against Fouke back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Dragons came up short against the Panthers, falling 11-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Dragons have suffered since March 4th.

Genoa Central has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-4 record this season. As for Fouke, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Genoa Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 9-3 win against Horatio on the 1st. As for Fouke, they will challenge Nashville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
