Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Canton Central Catholic). Everything went their way against the Lake Center Christian Tiger on Friday as they made off with a 13-5 victory. The Crusaders not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since May 15, 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Canton Central Catholic and bumps their season record up to 2-4. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-4 John F. Kennedy Catholic and 2-3 Lake Center Christian. As for Lake Center Christian, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Canton Central Catholic is set to square off against their familiar foe St. Vincent-St. Mary at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lake Center Christian will face off against rival John F. Kennedy Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
