Volleyball Game Preview: West Bladen Knights vs. South Columbus Stallions

The West Bladen Knights will head out on the road to square off against the South Columbus Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Columbus took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on West Bladen, who comes in off a win.

South Columbus will be up against a hot West Bladen team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went the Knights' way against Red Springs on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, South Columbus' good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against South Brunswick, falling 3-0.

While South Columbus was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-11, 25-23.

South Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for West Bladen, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.

West Bladen was able to grind out a solid win over South Columbus when the teams last played back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
