Volleyball Recap: West Bend West Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

West Bend West entered their tilt with St. Ambrose Academy on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Guardians by a score of 3-1.

The victory didn't come easy: St. Ambrose Academy scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 22-25, 25-20, 25-22.

Emmalee Heniadis paced West Bend West's offense, picking up 22 kills. Heniadis got some help from Morgan Winkler and her 38 assists. Winkler was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

West Bend West's win bumped their record up to 16-17. As for St. Ambrose Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-12.

Looking ahead, West Bend West will be taking part in a tournament against Grafton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Ambrose Academy, they will take on Marshall in a tournament on Saturday.
