Basketball Recap: Union Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Union can now relate to. They took a 56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Abingdon Falcons on Monday. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Abingdon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-8.

Coming up, Union will take on Graham at 6:00 p.m. on February 25th. As for Abingdon, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-45 victory against Central Wise on the 18th.
