Baseball Recap: Geneva Takes a Loss

Geneva has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.94 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They fell 11-6 to the Seffner Christian Crusaders.

Geneva's loss dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Seffner Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Geneva will be playing in front of their home fans against Master's Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seffner Christian, they will take on the Patriots at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Crusaders' pitchers better be ready for this one: Master's Academy has averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
