It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Central Cabarrus had no problem doing just that on Monday. They blew past the Eastern Guilford Wildcats 6-0. Considering Central Cabarrus have won eight matchups by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Eastern Guilford from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Alexandria Colligan led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Central Cabarrus has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3-2 record this season. As for Eastern Guilford, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-5.

Coming up, Central Cabarrus will venture away from home to challenge East Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Central Cabarrus' defense better be ready for this one: East Lincoln have averaged an impressive 3.3 goals per game this season. Eastern Guilford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
