Volleyball Game Preview: Crawford County Wolfpack vs. Salem Lions

After both having extra time off, the Crawford County Wolfpack and the Salem Lions will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Crawford County will be strutting in after a win while Salem will be coming in after a defeat.

Crawford County proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past Henryville 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Wolfpack in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Salem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Brownstown Central, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-5, 25-13, 25-11.

Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 10-19. As for Crawford County, their win bumped their record up to 18-13.

Crawford County was able to grind out a solid victory over Salem in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. Do the Wolfpack have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
