Volleyball Recap: Buena Comes Up Short

Buena lost against Flowing Wells back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Buena fell just short of Flowing Wells by a score of 2-1.

Flowing Wells' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chris Anaya-Ashe, who had 16 assists and four digs. Angel Murrieta also deserves some recognition as he had his first digs of the season.

Buena now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Flowing Wells, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Flowing Wells has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Verrado on the 28th. Hopefully Buena payed attention to Flowing Wells' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Flowing Wells at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
