Mount Olive was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 36-32 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mississippi School for the Deaf Bulldogs. One positive for the Pirates, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Mississippi School for the Deaf got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was DeSiare Ingram out in front who posted 12 points and three steals. Ingram is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Johnson, who earned eight points.

Mount Olive's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Mississippi School for the Deaf, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-8.

Mount Olive has already played their next game, a 47-12 defeat against Leake County on the 16th. As for Mississippi School for the Deaf, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 43-35 loss against Stringer on the 16th.
