Basketball Game Preview: DeWitt Panthers vs. East Lansing Trojans

DeWitt hasn't had much luck against East Lansing recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The DeWitt Panthers will be playing at home against the East Lansing Trojans at 7:00 p.m.

DeWitt is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They took a 59-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cadillac. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 250th, while the Vikings are ranked 42nd).

Meanwhile, East Lansing waltzed into their game on Friday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Warriors, sneaking past 62-60.

East Lansing's win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points over those games. As for DeWitt, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.
