Andrew Botner's Big Game Leads North Vermillion over Fountain Central

Andrew Botner was instrumental in extending North Vermillion's winning streak to four on Friday. Fountain Central had no answer to Botner as he rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. Botner's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season.

On the season, Botner has caught 1 touchdown while averaging 21.9 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 36.13 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 112.38 rushing yards.

Big Game from Moore As Covington Won 55-0

Cian Moore's big game helped extend Covington's winning streak to three on Friday. Moore was unstoppable, rushing for 189 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 166 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Attica's probably not too fond of Moore given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Moore saw the Red Ramblers), he rushed for 303 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 55 receiving yards.
