Davis has gone a perfect 10-0 against Wenatchee recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Davis Pirates will take on the Wenatchee Panthers at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Davis has ten straight wins, Wenatchee has 20 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, Davis humbled Sunnyside with an 80-26 victory. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Wenatchee duked it out with Eastmont on Tuesday. Wenatchee lost 51-28 to Eastmont. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 300th, while the Wildcats are ranked 80th).

Davis pushed their record up to 18-2 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.3 points over those games. As for Wenatchee, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-19.

Everything came up roses for Davis against Wenatchee in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 92-21 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Davis since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
