Softball Recap: Schoolcraft Drops Highest Score of Season Against Watervliet

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Schoolcraft). They blew past the Watervliet Panthers 27-17 on Saturday. Considering the Eagles have won eight contests by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the third in a row for Schoolcraft, bringing their record up to 10-16. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.7 runs over those games. As for Watervliet, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-11-1.

Coincidentally, Schoolcraft and Watervliet will both be playing Kellogg the next time they take the field. The Panthers will head out to face the Panthers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 9:00 p.m.
